Beautifully done. Powdered graphite background?

Thank you. I didn't have any powdered graphite, I shaded it in and then used a paintbrush to soften and blend it.

The Celts supposedly went into battle nude and that’s the way this started, but I found the legs would not support the weight of the upper body, so I had to put pants on him to give the legs more strength. He is 32” high and made of plaster. He was sculpted in monster clay, then casts were made In rubber then finally cast in plaster

Athenian Garden by J.L. Hennig
Figure Drawing pose anaiv310c
Reference: anaiv310c
Many of my pictures are based on themes from ancient Greece and Ana's pose immediately made me think of an Athenian woman at leisure in her garden. The floor tiles look like those that used to be on our terrace when I was a kid, Pierre Puvis de Chavannes and Constant Montald provided some further inspiration and the Goddess Aphrodite watches the scene. Oil on canvas panel, 40 x 50 cm.

Standing Female sketch by Steve Casper
Figure Drawing pose anaiv310c
Reference: anaiv310c
Thank you to Pose Space for organizing this forum and making these models available to all artists during this crazy time. This sketch was done on an iPad utilizing Procreate 5. I was trying to maintain a loose, gestural quality that might maintain some freshness and energy rather than a tightly rendered piece. Additionally, the whole world is enduring these times together so no one is alone. Use this time to reflect on who and what is important. Check on others, be kind, stay strong and we'll all get through this. Humans have always and will always adapt and overcome.

#Día20 Confination by Lol Malone
Figure Drawing pose
# Day20 (for me) Confination.   The state of alarm has caught me at my home in Mijas Costa, without tools. Luckily, I have my sketchbook and pencil case with markers at home. I was excited to find some school paintings of my son.   In these times I prefer to resign quality in favor of expression. PS: My brushes, canvases and paintings have remained in the studio, in Mijas Pueblo.

Journey to Motherhood #13 by Becca Poole
Figure Drawing pose carolyne006

This piece is part of a collection, acknowledging the cast emotional experience of women becoming mothers through pregnancy. Each piece contains the words of an individual woman, reflecting on her own feelings in this huge life change. The piece is hand lettered, transferred to a screen for printing and then hand colored using water soluble crayons and printed with transparent base.

Meet me in the Garden by Faith Livingstone
Figure Drawing pose
My covid 19 project. I decided that I needed something joyful to come out of this sad and terrible time. So I painted poppies bursting with colour. Meet me in the Garden is a good way to describe how people are coping right now. I see a lot of people digging in their own gardens, trying to create something beautiful and heartwarming.
Submit

Funny, I started thinking about gardening too. The kids and I will be planting vegetables soon.

What a delightful way to look forward past these trying times, ty Faith.
